Refund and Returns Policy

At Sugamaze, we strive to ensure every customer is delighted with our cakes and treats. Since all our products are custom-made and perishable, we maintain the following refund and return policies:


1. No Returns on Perishable Items

Due to the perishable nature of baked goods and our commitment to freshness, we do not accept returns on any cakes, cupcakes, or edible products once they leave our bakery or are delivered.


2. Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery time.

  • Custom or large orders (e.g., wedding cakes) must be canceled at least 5 days in advance.

  • If canceled within the allowed timeframe, a full refund will be issued.

  • Cancellations made after the cutoff are non-refundable, as preparation begins in advance.


3. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund or partial refund if:

  • You received the wrong order

  • Your order was not delivered

To request a refund, please contact us immediately at info@sugamaze.ca with:

  • Your order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Photos (if applicable)


4. Design & Taste Concerns

We work closely with you to understand your cake preferences, design ideas, and flavors. However:

  • Minor design variations may occur due to hand-crafted nature and are not considered grounds for refund.

  • Taste is subjective, and we do not offer refunds based on personal taste preferences.


5. Changes to Your Order

Any changes to your order (flavor, design, date) must be requested at least 48 hours before delivery/pickup. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but changes are not guaranteed after this time.
